Ratz

Ratz is a short incremental first-person lane shooter where you play as a rookie exterminator on his very first day on the job. What should have been a routine extermination contract quickly turns into a nightmare when mutant rats infest an entire town. Luckily, you've got a mentor to show you the ropes. Whether he's actually there to help you or just make a quick buck off your misfortune is another matter entirely.

Features

• Keep the Rats at Bay! Navigate four cardinal-direction lanes using WASD and fire your trusty crossbow with LMB. Slay mutant rats before they get to you! Your mentor has an old-fashioned approach to extermination: let the rats come to you. After all, that's 50% of the job done!
• Harvest, Upgrade, Exterminate! Destroy the strange Rat Mounds scattered throughout town and harvest their Green Crystals. Spend your hard-earned crystals on weapon upgrades, and eventually save up enough to purchase your mentor's latest invention: the Bolt-O-Matic 8000. Because nothing says professional extermination like an excessively powerful weapon.
• Get Stronger! Slaying rats grants XP, allowing you to level up and earn AP. Spend your AP at the campfire to purchase stat upgrades and become a more capable exterminator.
• Face the Mother Rat! Survive three distinct waves of mutant rats that become increasingly more difficult before confronting the diabolical Mother Rat, the source of the infestation. Prove yourself a capable exterminator and put an end to the madness!

This game is a small proof of concept for a much bigger game. Your feedback will help us decide whether to take it further!
